Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 457 – Mercer Island

Chartered in 1952, Troop 457 is the oldest troop on Mercer Island and is dedicated to helping boys develop into well-rounded citizens with a love for nature, country, and a sense of commitment to serving others.

About Troop 457

Troop 457 is a diverse and inclusive troop. We accept and encourage membership and participation of Scouts and Adult Leaders of all races, colors, national origins, sexual orientations, religions, and disabilities
 

Troop 457 strives to maintain an active program that emphasizes citizenship, service to the community, outdoor activities, physical fitness, leadership skills, camaraderie, and fun!

 

In 2020, Troop 457 achieved Scouting's Journey to Excellence (JTE) Gold award by meeting objectives in planning and budgeting, membership, programming, and volunteer leadership.

Community Service Work

Scouts BSA is a well-organized source of community service volunteers who have never failed to assist when called upon, and Troop 457 has and continues to service the community in many ways.
